Max, 27 1/2" barrel that is serial numbered to the action, It has their island base with 1 standing & 2 folding sights plus a fold-up elevator sight, Modern installed custom scope bases to fit Leupold rings, 1.5x5 Leupold, Sling eye on the barrel, The action with their side sliding trigger-lock safety, 13 5/8" LOP over a 3/4" Silvers recoil pad, 7 Lbs. 12 Oz., Very solid wood that I believe has the original finish but the forend has had oil added, The wood is extremely sound on both the butt & forend, The checkering has not been re-cut and remains in 80% condition, Horn grip cap, All metal has original blue, The barrel retains 75% blue, The action retains 50% blue with a nice patina, The bore condition remains very good. These Westley "New Underlevers" are not easy to find and the records to this day are unsure of how many; it exceeded 400 but how many beyond that is unknown. This gun is #36996; #34934, #34638 & #34642 were 500 N. E., #36026 was a 600 N. E. and #40946 was a 577 N. E.
