Description:
S&W tip up with the last patent date 1860, and a 3 1/4" barrel, with decent bore, good rifling, and some patches of shallow recent corrosion. Gun locks up solid, and indexes good. This is a 7 shot .22 short, or CB caliber. The finish is about 8% blue in protected areas, and the there are patches of roughness, and fine pitting on the cylinder flats, and flat of the frame on the right side. The walnut grips are very good.This gun has a missing shell rammer under the barrel, and I'll make a proper one if I have time and the price will then increase.
