STEVENS model 14 1/2 falling block rifle with a 18" round barrel, and fair bore with rifling to spin a bullet, but not win any shootin' contests. Areas of corrosion, and pitting from not cleaning often enough. Gun functions good, and the outside metal is a smooth brown patina, and areas of surface frosting from storage. Overall length is about 32 1/2" long.The aged American walnut wood is solid, except for one small chip out of the top edge near the steel crescent butt-plate.
