Description:

We are in the process of moving so responses might be a bit slow.  Our new location is larger and has better parking, but type the address (7209 Hawkinsville Road, Macon, GA, 31216) and you will se we are moving about a quarter of a mile.  Our tlelephone number is still going to be 478-784-2767

This is a 1903 model Turkish Mauser made in 1937, serial number 12054. This one does show repair on the rear tang. The 1903 is a large ring, 1898 style, Mauser, but with a 1893 style small shank barrel. When they were designed the receiver was slightly notched to easily allow loading of the slightly longer rounds. The bolt and magazine of the 1903 is also shorter than a normall 8mm model 98. This is an intermediate length action and the bolt and magazine are 0.2 inches shorter than a standard length 98 action. The receiver face is, coincidentally, 0.2 longer than a 98.

If you read four books about these Mausers you will get four different stories about the how and why, but these Turkish Mausers represent a strange period without real answers. If you have questions about the actual physical condition drop us email and we will try to answer.

Georgia 7% sales tax is required on all purchases unless you provide a EIN or tax number ID. If you want it shipped to one of the lower 48 states it will be the flat rate of $25.00, more to Alaska or Hawaii.

All prices reflect a 4% discount for cash, money order or cashier’s check, so if you need to use a card we have to add the 4% back to the total.

“ALL SALES ARE FINAL”  There is a three day inspection period to check for shipping damage and deal with the shipping company, not to play with it and decide if you want to keep it.
