Enfield No.4 Mk1* having a serial number of 93L11558 and chambered in .303 British.
The Lee-Enfield bolt-action, magazine-fed, repeating rifle was the main firearm used by the military forces of the British Empire and Commonwealth during the first half of the 20th century. It was the British Army's standard rifle from its official adoption in 1895 until 1957, but the No.4 Mk1* is an uncommon variant, most of the No.4 rifles being converted to the shorter model SMLE configuration. This one was made at Long Branch Arsneal AND is dated 1950, which makes it even less common than the run of the mill buty rare No. 4 Mk1* rifles. This gun does have import markings on the barrel in front of the freont sight.
