Description:
This bayonet is dated 11-09 with "C (Broad Arrow)" , "Crown over 8." 141, "185", US number mark and US flaming bomb. This is in very good condition with grey blade showing scattered stains, 60% blue fading brown on grip, clear markings. Comes in a brown leather scabbard marked with flaming bomb and "U.S." on frog with "75" "N.R.", and "240" on back. Body has "WW" initials scratched in lightly. leather is still soft and supple. The socket looks to have been reamed out slightly. We have tried it on a rifle in the shop and it fits snugly. A very good Ross MK1 bayonet used by both Canada and the US.
