4" clip-point blade marked R. W. LOVELESS / maker / Lawndale, California. Nickel silver hilt. Full tapered tang with red liner and rosewood grips, retained with two of Loveless' flush bolts and hollow brass lanyard loop. Shop order No. 228. Overall length 7 5/8". With Loveless high-ride leather sheath. Shop order number S-212. Original paperwork and letter from R L Loveless from 1971 detailing this knife. Original owner's initials etched on blade by Robert Loveless, as listed on order.
