Description:
Arisaka Type 99 Rifle in 7.7x58 (7.7 JAP). Jinsin Aresenal (Korean made under Japanese occupation), series 40, late production, likely 1945-ish. Metal and wood exhibit typical late war/ last ditch condition and finish, coarsely done. Mum is heavily ground but numbers match on bolt and receiver; no other parts appear numbered. Not cut for cleaning rod. Bore is very nice, bright and shiney. Wooden/nailed buttplate, typical of late war production. A very nice example of a last ditch rifle from an uncommon arsenal.
