Description:
Kokura Arsenal Japanese Type 99 Series 25 rifle. Caliber 7.7x58 (7.7 Jap), this is a late war production rifle. Near last ditch configuration, this rifle exhibits rough finishing and milling, and coarse wood with wooden/nailed buttplate. No mum present, not cut for cleaning rod. Bore is near perfect, bright and shiney with strong rifling. Bolt matches receiver, no other parts appear numbered. Overall a very nice late war production Arisaka rifle for any collection.
