Description:
Arisaka Type 99 Rifle made at Tokyo Juki Kogyo. Typical late war last-ditch prodcution, likely made 1945-ish. No mum present, not cut for cleaning rod. Typical rough finish and milling, along with a coarsely finished and sanded stock. Wooden/nailed buttplate. Bolt matches itselft at #505, last three of receiver is #525, so either a close mistake or a straight-up mismatch. Bore is clean and strong with what looks like some minor corrosion at the last couple of inches of rifling. Would probably clean out/shoot out just fine in a few rounds.
