* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Petit "Defender" Ring Pistol with Case, this is a unique example of a French single shot percussion ring gun. The band of the ring is marked "THE PETIT DEFENDER" flanked by a light floral engraving. The ring is of metal construction with the small parts having a fireblued appearance. The case measuring 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and has "THE PETIT DEFENDER" in a silver oval maker plate affixed to the top of the lid, the interior of the case is lined in dark blue velvet and has a space for ball shot and caps, included is the cleaning brush, overall condition on this rare item is very good plus.
