Description:
This 14 1/2 inch long bayonet features the shortest wood grip scales of any bayonet we remember. Bayonet is in very good condition with crisp mum, 74 on right side of pommel, and 50992 serial number on pommel butt. A few impact marks show around slot, metal shows a grey patina. Wood grips are very good with oil stains and a few marks. Blade has been sharpened and tip is slightly rounded, A scarce Japane4se bayonet for the advanced collector.
