Description:
This is ammo for the German MKB42 assault rifle that was developed 1940-41. This was the first successful assault rifle cartridge, the Russian 7.62 X 39 was developed in response. This box contains 15 rounds with 1945 headstamp, repacked in 1954. Steel cases, corrosive primers and Tombak gilded bullets with varnish preservative coating all in excellent condition. Great box for the collector.
