(some very large firearms (example Barrett .50 BMGs) may cost extra to ship) All firearms must be either shipped to a dealer in your state or picked up at our retail store in Saint Marys, PA. The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Firearm is used but in very good condition, a hidden gem of Smith & Wesson. Ready to ship, buy it now!! Manufactured for S&W by Howa Machinery of Japan the Model 1000 is truly a hidden treasure amongst the Semi-Auto shotgun world. Although S&W ceased production of shotguns in 1985 a good many Model 1000's are still being used regularly even today. A gas operated semi-automatic shotgun platform fully capable of running through many thousands of rounds in it's lifetime. High grade walnut, polished bolt and action, rich bluing and an engraved receiver are just many of the aesthetic features these firearms come standard with. Gauge: 20 2 3/4" Only Barrel: 28" Ventilated rib, dual bead Choke: Modified Stock: High Grade Walnut, Hand-cut checkering Finish: High Polish Blue Firearm is in very good condition, was carried more than it was fired. Action and gas system are very clean. Bluing on barrel is 95% plus, very small nicks and marks in about a half dozen places on barrel. A few nicks and dings in finish of wood furniture as well. Only major marks are on the left side of the stock as shown in pictures. Pictures represent actual condition of firearm, as this is the one you will be receiving.
