Description:
Ithaca Gun Company Single Barrel Trap shotgun chambered for the 12 gauge shell. This is a grade 5 flues model (S/N 261075T places the date of manufacture as 1916) and was only available as a custom ordered gun. The boxlock receiver is beautifully scroll engraved with portraits of hunting dogs on the left side and a quail motif on the right. The receiver, tang, tang screw and side lock are deeply case colored while the barrel, forearm metal and trigger guard are blued. The bluing is 100%, showing no wear or scratches. The barrel length is 34 inches with twin white beads on a raised vented rib. Crisp checkering adorn the high quality walnut forearm and pistol grip stock. Horn pistol grip cap. Length of pull is 14 inches over Pachmayer recoil pad and three inserts. The drop at heel is 2 1/4 inches. Overall condition is like new. Does not come with case or manual. Mechanically sound and in working condition. However, as buyers are responsible for their own safety, we recommend that any and all used firearms should always be checked by a competent gunsmith before you consider firing them. This firearm qualifies as a "Curio and Relic".
