Description:
This "SA" marked bayonet is dated "1907" with serial # 229092 on ricasso. Backstrap of grip is stamped "AFH" indicating rework at American Fork and Hoe. Right grip by Norton Laboratories, left grip by Auburn Button Works. Pommel stamped "A". Metal retains 60% finish with signs of use. Scabbard is a cut down M3 with rebent tabs and added layer of paint. An interesting reworked bayonet with great markings in a period scabbard.
