Purdey, London. Extremely rare pair of light weight self-opening sidelock ejector game guns, one in 28ga., the other in .410 ga., ca. 1989.
#29025 - .410 ga. Weight: 5 Lbs 1 oz. Stock Dimensions: 15 ½”x 1 3/8”x 1 7/8”x 5/16” cast-off. 26” chopperlump steel barrels with 3” chambers, mint bores, choked ¾ / ¼ .
#29026 – 28ga. Weight: 5 Lbs. 5 oz. Stock Dimensions: 14 7/8”x 1 3/8”x 2 1/8”x 5 /16” cast-off. 28” chopperlump steel barrels with 2 ¾” chambers, mint bores (.058”/.057”) choked IC/Mod (.009”/.023”)
Both with highly figured walnut straight-grip stocks and splinter forends. Double triggers.
Both guns are in absolutely brilliant, mint, unfired condition and each comes in its own case with a full compliment of accessories all still wrapped in the tissue paper as they came from the maker over twenty years ago. Overall an exceptional and very rare pair of guns in pristine condition throughout.
