Description:
Winchester Model 1897 Pump Shotgun in 12ga, takedown model. Serial number dates production to 1900. Has been refinished sometime in the past, stock looks to have also been refinished ages ago. Looks great for its age, action is solid, missing the alignment screw. Metal butt plate, smooth. Finish is about 70-80% (again, refinishined ages ago, but done proffesionally it appears). Magazine has plug in it, not sure how many rounds it limits, easily removed. Action seems to lock up tight, barrel and magazine tube have typical wiggle for something this old, nothing extreme. Bore is heavily pitted unfortunately.
