Good working antique POINTER Derringer with a 2 3/4" round barrel, and rough bore from shooting corrosive ammo. the outside metal is brown patina on the barrel, with some roughness from age, and the frame is nickle plated brass, in much better condition.Has a serial number of 783 on the breech. Looks like original hardwood slab grips.An Old West hide-away derringer with much character. Made by HOPKINS & ALLEN of Norwich, Conn. one of the largest 19th century gun makers.
