Description:
Rare heavy 12ga bore rifle (full length polygonal rifling not oval bore) with 2.5"x29" sighted barrels, the platinum-lined folding leaves marked 100 and 150, nitro-proofed for 750 gr conical as well as 1 1/8" shot but as best I can tell there is no choke. Bright bores w some light blotches in right near chamber. Action tight, bushed pins, intercepting sears, dolls head with third fastener, nicely scroll/banner/border engraving, brushed bright, barrels w strong blue. Figured stock, vacant gold oval, drops 1 5/8", 2 1/8" LOP 14 3/4" thru original spurred steel buttplate. 1/4" cast off. Sound wood, sharp checkering, lots of finish with normal light scratches and dings. A hair over 7.5lbs. A rare bird.
