These guns were reportedly made in Belgium on original Colt tooling in complete duplication to the originals down to thread size.  They were imported begining in 1960 by Shore Galleries in Chicago. The gun is stamped on top ; 1960 New Model Army Centennial Trade Mark Chicago USA.  They are sometimes referred to as a continuataion of the series rather than a replica as we know it today.  The gun is basically a standard 8" barrel Model 1860 Army .44 that has be beautifully hand chisel engraved and remains in unfired as new condition. The engraving and the case colored and blued finish are as nice as any of the second generation Colt black powder series.  It has the Belgium proofs barrel as well.   NO paper work needed to ship.
