#3906, Hambrusch (Josef & now Peter), Hambrusch Jagdwaffengesellschaft m.b.H., Ferlach, Austria: A 500 3" Nitro Express SxS Boxlock Ejector Model "Professional Hunter", 24 3/8" Chopper Lump Ejector barrels, Rib extension with a Greener type crossbolt, 1/4 rib with 1 standing & 1 folding rear sights, Bushed strikers, Bolstered frame, Scalloped action back, Double triggers with the front trigger articulated, Extended top strap over the comb of the stock, Full length trigger guard tang to the engraved steel grip cap, 6 each locking screws on key screws, Very nice wood with nice color & contrast, Deeley & Edge type forend release, Well-proportioned beavertail forend, 15" LOP over a 3/4" decelerator pad, It will go 15 1/4" with a 1" pad installed, Absolute Big Bore weight at 12 lbs. 10 oz., Sling eyes, 96% coverage of well-cut scroll engraving by Metschiunig and signed on a satin finished frame & forend iron, The overall condition on both the metal and wood is at 96%, The bores look like they did the day it left Ferlach, Austria, The gun has never been to Africa and the owner reports excellent accuracy with Superior ammunition.
