Early 1881 etched panel .38 Colt Lightning with 3 1/2":barrel,  referred to as the shop keeper or sheriff model with no ejector.  A favorite of many in the wild west including Billy the Kid, this gun dates to the prime era most coveted by real old west collectors.  It is in the 38 Colt caliber referred to as the Lightning and has the early rare fully readable etched panel. Gun retains at least 90% of its original factory nickel finish. Minty grips and good amounts of fire blue on the screws.  Works perfect in both single and double action. Exc bore. Antique so do not need any paper work.
