Approximately 48,000 of these were manufactured between 1861 and 1873. This one is SN 35455 and has all matching numbers, including the wedge. It has a 5 1/2" barrel and an unpolished brass gripstrap. The barrel and cylinder have turned a smooth grey. The hammer, frame, and ejector still show signs of the case coloring. The grips are in fine condition and retain 85-90% of their original finish. A nice clean gun that was used but not abused.
