Description:

These double dates are interesting sub catagory martial and civlian pistols in that,  this model, was issued to the German forces at the very start of the First War in 1914. Subsequently,  after the Versaille Treaty of 1919,  a certain amount of weapons were allowed to stay in Germany after the war for civilian protection as warrented by police departments, etc.  They were stamped 1920 , indicating that this gun was allowed in the allotment of guns that could be retained.  This gun survived five years of war service and who knows how long it was used by a local police unit after the war and has remained in beautiful all original condition with all matching numbers , except of course, the magazine.  It is serial number 6803. It retains most of the original blue finish and nice straw colors.  Bore is nice and gun functions as new.  C&R
