Serial #15585 was mfg. in 1907. It is a standard model with lanyard and original Colt marked magazine, This is the predecessor to the .38 Super but the round is loaded to lower velocity. This example retains at least 85% of the high polish blue finish. Not a mint example but far above average and enough wear that shooting it would not be a crime given you use the properly loaded ammo and not the .38 super rounds which will tear this gun apart. These are interesting guns that show up in a lot of the 1930's gangster films. c&r
