Serial # CS003805 was made in the last year of the pre series 70 commercial models , 1970.  Only 2% of the commercial models were made in nickel finish and if you have been looking for a .38 Super,  you know how far and few these nickel versions turn up for sale.  This one is near mint with all the original factory nickel albiet, there are some of the usual light surface abrasions that with a little work , can be taken out or down to nothing.  Mint grips, mint bore,  gun looks like is has never been or at worst, lightly used with just average storage wear. No idiot mark on take down.  Original clip.  Beautiful gun that is covered with a C&R.
