Description:
Here you go. You are not going to get one like mine. This is a conversion with a Bridgeport barrel in express caliber, 44-90 bottle neck. 30 inch barrel, 12-pounds plus. Good markings. Serial number on the barrel is different from tang. Gun was put together during the buffalo period and shows honest consistency of the period. Tight action, excellent bore. Worn out fore-arm with sliver off side. Some original Bridgeport finish still exists under the fore-arm. I don't know who did the conversion, but many were done in the time. At least, in my opinion, the conversion was done no earlier than 1876 because if it was earlier, the barrel would be marked Hartford. This is a gun for a serious buyer who wants power. The gun speaks for itself. Feel free to make me an offer.
