Description:
This gun was shipped in 1876 and is the 40-70 bottle neck cartridge which only lasted a few years. Originally sent to Saint Louis, then obviously was purchased by Fruend as it is marked Fruend & Bro. Gun has nice weight to it, well used but not abused making it a Wyoming Gun and is one of the few states that they did hunt Buffalo in. A rare find no matter what. Time payments available. Tight action, good bore. All correct with Fruend unmarked ghost site at rear.
