Ricasso marking indicates either the Tokyo or Kukura Arsenal. the edge is sharpened and shows rust and the metal surfaces of scabbard, guard, spine and pommel have been bead or sand blasted over fine pitting. Grips are very well worn; missing sections. The condition poor, but a represenative example.
