This is a great item.  It is a fold out field desk that opens up and once the desk top is removed, it reveals an entire cased Colt 1849 set which includes the gun, flask, mold, caps, balls and turn screw.  Desk items include two ink wells, an old stamp and an old fountain pen.  Materal is original red velvet. Gun is bascially patina and locks up like new with 100% visible scene.  Serial #152300 is all matching. Nice grips.  Plaque on top of desk : L.E. Foster.  All the reloading items are original to gun which was made in 1859.   NO paper work needed for this historical and rare cased Colt Set. No key present to lock case.
