Good functioning Carcano WWII carbine in 7.9mm( Mauser 8mm ) caliber, with a 18" barrel, and an excellent shiny bore. Hardwood stock is very good, and has the numbers to the gun, x'd out.The metal is an arsenal blue, and clean. Unusual to find a pre-war carbine in 8mm Mauser caliber.Many of these made for the Nazi's and others converted for Isreal after the war. This gun shoots good, but with an 18" barrel it kicks hard.
