Very nice Stephen Grant Sidelever 12 ga. 28" chopper lump Whitworth barrels choked improved cylinder and light modified with excellent bores. The barrels retain 95% of a quality reblue showing some light wear. The frame and locks are beautifully engraved with scroll and banners and with the signature Grant fluted fences. They show a light cleaning to a bright finish but the engraving is still crisp. The highly figured stock has an oil finish and good checkering as does the splinter forearm. The stock has a 1 3/8" leather covered pad providing a length of 14 3/4" with drops of 1 1/2" and 2 1/8" and 1/4" cast off. The gun features double triggers, ejectors, and a non automatic safety. Made in 1912 and nitro proofed for 2 1/2" cartridges. A wonderful British shotgun from the "golden" years.
