The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). We encourage that the buyer contact the dealer before we transfer the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Firearm is used with 60%-70% of bluing remaining, some pitting and old rust throughout. Small chip out of right side wood grips. Mechanics of gun appear to be 100% functional, lock-up is fairly tight with probably only 1/16th of inch of play. Firearm is ready to ship out, buy it now!! The Colt Police Positive Special was an iterative improvement of the earlier Colt Police Positive, the differences being a marginally lengthened cylinder and elongated and strengthened frame to allow the firearm to handle the more powerful .32-20 Winchester and .38 Special cartridges. Bases on the serial number of 58XXX, the year of manufacture for this firearm is 1913. Colt's 6th year of running production on this model.
