As you can see, it fits a 51 Navy like a glove. It is in excellent shape for a 150 year old holster. It is fully tooled in deep relief. The leather is a very sturdy think leather, not a limpy soft holster It is form fitted and has the trigger guard protecter which does have a crack on back. All the stitching is perfecdt. One little dark blem on front.
