Rare Winchester 1881 Bears Head Canvas Ammo Belt
Often seen photograph of Teddy Roosevelt wearing this exact same style belt. The silver plated buckle features a Bear head while the clasp in stamped “Made by Winchester 1881“ The canvas belt was made to hold .44 & 45 Pistol Cartridges rather than the more common rifle rounds. The belt shows lots of wear with a few loops completely blown thru and rough edges but heck, it is so rare and looks great with a holstered Colt SAA, it should make no difference.
