Very clean wartime Enfield No4 MKI rifle made by LONG BRANCH of CANADA dated 1943. Gun is clean walnut wood, with a few dings,and scrapes from field use.I believe that many of the barrels for Longbranch were made at Savage arms with exacting tolerances. Locks up good, and the 25.2" barrel has a clean bore, strong rifling some pits down in the grooves.!Serial number is 39L8914, and stock numbered to the gun!Also the stock has a painted rack number .Overall a gun that was not abused, but wartime average use.
