Engraved on the back in script “MFTURE IMPLE DU KLINGENTHAL OCTOBRE 1813” which is just prior to the Battle of Waterloo. Blade double proofed on the right side forward of the guard with the blade maker’s proofs of the firm of Blick and Lobstein(alternately a circled “B” and circled “L”). All original including the leather grip wrap and wire. Even has the original leather washer. Excellent overall with lovely patina and crisp metal. Grip leather in exceptionally nice condition.
