Description:
Standard Saddle ring carbine in 30 W.C.F. [30-30 WIN.]. Made in 1918 during World War One. Has the original carbine sights and is also fitted with a Marbles tang sight with disc aperture. The stock and forend is the correct gumwood used at this time period. The wood is in clean condition with most of all the finish intact. There is no dents or cracks. The carbine itself has 97% of the bluing intact with the exception of the receiver itself. The left side of the receiver shows 75% of the bluing. The right side shows 25% of the bluing intact with the rest of the surface turning silvery with some speckling, most likely from poor storage. The bore is in like new condition. These early saddle ring carbines saw hard use and to be able to find one this nice is a real find! This carbine is a real collectors "gem".  Search for Harry Viezens on google. BBSE Curio&Relic
