Bullet, A 333 Flanged Nitro Express Made in 1913 with 24" Chopper Lump Extractor Krupp Steel barrels with dolls head rib extension plus a third bite, 1/4 rib with 1 standing & 3 folding rear sights, Ramp front sight with a sight protector, Proved at 42 Cordite with a 300 grain bullet, Regulated for 250 grain bullet, Double triggers, Bushed strikers, 14 1/2" L.O.P. over a checkered butt with engraved steel heel & toe plates, 9 lbs. 10 oz., Sling eyes, Horn grip cap, The sides of the action are engraved with the Indian jungle scene that is often seen on this grade of Jeffery; The floorplate, trigger guard and the barrels at the breech and muzzle were engraved in scroll at a later time but very well done, The buttstock and forend wood remains extremely solid with a lifetime of game field use left, The barrel blue is 97%, 35% original case colors, The butt and forend with original finish and it remains at 88-90%, The original checkering is at 96%, The inside of the forend has 100% original case colors, The breech face has 90% case colors. The great news continues with the bores, they remain virtually as new and certainly are excellent plus. Here is a very nice piece that has lived a pretty guarded life and had custodians in the past that appreciated its merits and cared for it well.
