Description:
Serial #(series 3) 72603, 7.7mm Arisaka, 26" barrel with a very good bore that has light-moderate freckling within the grooves. This is a Nagoya marked rifle with ground 'mum that has a mismatched bolt and retains 75-80% of the original blue turning plum-brown with darker brown freckling throughout. There are some flecks and splatters of old paint along the right side of the rifle, heaviest near the muzzle. The stock and handguard are in about very good overall condition with scattered moderate handling marks and surface blemishes throughout the original varnish finish and a large bruise on the right side at the receiver. The cleaning rod is missing. This is a good-very good Type 99 overall and would make a nice representative example for a collection. C&R
