SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 trapdoor in good condition with a good stock,can't read the cartouche, looks like the stock was refinished very log time ago, and is a dark American walnut! Medal is brown heavy patina . Good rifling in the bore,with patches of fine pits, and some frosting in the grooves from corrosive black powder cartridges. And has 1873 rear sights, with the breech block dated 1884. SN 500869.Front band is a stacking swivel. Would make a good shooter.no cleaning rod present.
