Gipson Enfield .300 H&H Custom Full custom .300 H&H on a Remington Enfield action by Bob Gipson of Buffalo, Wyoming. This outstanding firearm features a 24" sightless Shilen barrel. Built on a Remington Enfield action which is a true magnum length Mauser type control feed action with all the best custom features including a three position side swing safety, Wiebe bottom metal with straddle floorplate and trigger bow release, fully adjustable Timney trigger, and a checkered custom bolt release. Swarovski 3x9x36 scope in Williams custom rings and custom square bridge style bases. The Williams rings are interchangeable with Talley rings. All rust blued. It takes a lot of work to make a first class custom from an Enfield and this one has it all. Stocked in American Classic style with shadow line cheekpiece in highly figured and dense Bastogne Walnut. Stock features include double crossbolts. two screw inletted sling swivels and ebony forend tip. Well cut 28 LPI point pattern checkering which wraps the forend. Pillar bedded. 13 1/2" LOP to a red Decelerator pad. 8lb 14oz as scoped. Excellent overall condition with metal finish at 99%, checkering at 99%, and stock finish at 98% with very slight handling marks. This is a first class piece in every way on a true magnum length controlled feed action. It just doesn't get any better than this.
