NEW PRICE!! NEW PRICE!! WNCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE SPECIAL ORDER HALF MAGAZINE! #924xxx. The bore on this most attractive SRC is excellent throughout. Barrel and button mag retain 97% blue; receiver sides and belly 90+% with the top of the bolt and about one half the tang showing some browning. There is typical ghosting under the saddle ring but most of the blue is intact there as well. Wood has repaired chip at right side of wrist just rearward and above the trigger. This repair is the original wood chip glued back in place. The wood remains properly proud and in fine condition but may have seen some touching up in the distant past. All mechanics excellent and the sights are correct.
This 1924 manufactured carbine has been well cared for over these many years and probably spent most of its existence properly lubricated and cased.
