Westley Richards Mauser .338 Westley Richards .338 Winchester Magnum built on a standard length Mauser action with 25" round barrel with island front sight with W-R patent folding hood and pop up moon bead. Banded sling swivel and island rear sight base with one standing and two folding leaves. Color case hardened bolt shroud and two position checkered side swing safety. Schmidt & Bender 30mm 1.5x6 scope in EAW Quic-Loc rings and mounts. Drop box magazine with straddle floorplate and trigger bow release. This gun features large shaded open scroll engraving on the action, floorplate and trigger guard, barrel breach, and front and rear sight bases. British style stock with ebony forend tip, shadow line pancake cheekpiece, double crossbolts, and color case hardened trap pistol grip cap. Excellent color, contrast, and grain flow through the wrist. Checkering is 20 LPI with a mullered border. 14" LOP to a Silver's pad. This gun weighs 9lb 7oz without the scope and 11lb with it. Cased in a leather trunk case with W-R label and a Boyt leather sling. This gun is as new from the maker and is a best quality medium game gun.
