Winchester Model 1886 Special Order Deluxe Lightweight takedown rifle in Very high condition. Made in 1906 Cal 45-70 Original 22" rapid taper Bbl. marked nickel steel with a scarce full magazine tube. Excellent bore. This rifle features a ivory bead Lyman front sight and sporting rear sight. The stock is original 2X DLX walnut with checkered and capped pistol grip with Winchester hard rubber butt plate. The wood has nearly all of the original varnish with sharp checkering. The barrel and receiver retain 98% of the bright original blue finish and nearly all the original vivid case colors on hammer and lever. This is a Excellent Model 1886 all original complete with a Cody firearms museum letter.
