One of the more desirable 1878 Colt double action Frontier models is this nickel 4 3/4 with factory etched Colt Frontier Six Shooter.  This is a very high grade gun in that all the etched panel is readable. The gun retains at least 80% original factory nickel finish  with some freckling on barrel and most of the nickel loss on cylinder which remains at about 65% along with  most of the fire blue still on back of hammer, trigger and hidden screws. Mint grips,  Mint bore and mint action.  A truly fine condition all original 1878.
