A very good working model 311A double shotgun made by Stevens, in 12ga. with plain walnut stocks. Gun looks very good, and the stocks are very good, with no cracks or breaks, only handling abrasions from field use, and some flaking finish. The 28" barrel have shiny clean bores and choked at: CYL, and CYL.Side of frame states J. C. HIGGINS MODEL 1017. Chambered for the 2 3/4" shell, and the LOP is 14 3/4". Medal is dark blue,with about 93%. and the frame is still showing strong color case hardening.Has one front silver bead sight.I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns.
