S&W REGULATION POLICE H.E.in .38S&W with a 4" pinned barrel, and a good bore with patches of surface corrosion, but not a pitted out barrel. Action locks up good, not like new but a good shooter, and indexes good. The nickle finish is about 98% later showing some oxidation, and very fine patches of pits and appears to have been refinished long ago professionally .Overall presentable and not a ground down job.All numbers and lettering is sharp. The rare early S&W walnut hand checkered grips with the patent date stamped on the bottom, clearly, with even wear.I hope you like my wide selection of unusual guns.
