#15633, Beretta O/U Model ASEL 12 Bore Made in 1955 with 26" Matted Vent Rib barrels with top bite cross bolt lugs at .723 .014 & .023 (Skt.II & Mod.), Original 2 3/4" chambers, Original & Correct factory bores and chokes as it left the factory in 1955 with the proper metric proof house marks at 18.3mm & 17.7mm & 18mm chokes, Barrel weight at Kg 1,390, Single non-selective trigger, Scalloped frame, Game forend, Straight hand stock at 13 7/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4" over a full face checkered butt and will go 14 7/8" with a 1" pad, Slight cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 13 oz., A true & accurate ASEL frame at 6 lbs. 13 oz., Nice European walnut, 95% coverage of scroll with light floral, The gun retains 88% original blue, The wood is at 90%, The checkering at 96%, The bores like new. This quality period piece has 8 retainer screws that secure key screws on the frame, forend and trigger guard. It includes the replaceable locking shoulders on the barrel at the breech. The ASE/ASEL Model Beretta is the best Boxlock they ever produced and it will never be again at anywhere near this price. Beretta offered the AS Model for 17 years and discontinued this model in 1964.
